Call for Papers
92nd Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association
The American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE) will be hosting two sessions at the 92nd Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association (SEA) to take place in Fort Lauderdale, FL at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa, November 19-21, 2022.
The first session is sponsored by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation and must consist of papers around the topic of “Hispanics’ Business and Entrepreneurship”. For this session, the Kauffman Foundation has graciously provided funding for two awards of $250 USD for the best presentations in the session.
The second session’s topic is open. ASHE has traditionally hosted papers on race, gender, ethnicity, health, COVID, and migration, but other topics are welcome.
If you are interested in participating in any of the two sessions above, please send an extended abstract (that includes the title of your paper and the name and affiliation of your co-authors) to Alfonso Flores-Lagunes (email@example.com). Please also indicate clearly which of the two sessions you want your paper to be under consideration.
The submission deadline is April 1, 2022.
