The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University seeks to hire a tenured associate professor or professor in macroeconomics. The candidate hired will be expected to maintain an active research program and support a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring of a diverse student body at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Required: Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a related field before employment begins in August 2024, and have a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with the associate professor or professor level.
Desired: Applications from those interested in working on the editorial board of the Journal of Money, Credit and Banking are especially encouraged. Candidates should demonstrate attentiveness to building a diverse intellectual community, in line with OSU’s shared values (see below).
