The American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE) will be hosting various sessions, including a Presidential session, at the Southern Economic Association’s 95th Annual Meeting, taking place November 22-24, 2025, in Tampa, FL. We will design the topics for these sessions based on the submissions received. ASHE has traditionally hosted papers on topics such as race, gender, ethnicity, health, and migration, but other topics are also welcome. Participants will have the opportunity to publish summaries of their research in the Hispanic Economic Outlook.

Everyone is welcome to submit abstracts for consideration, regardless of current ASHE membership. However, all selected participants must ensure they have a current ASHE membership at the time of the conference (either individual or through their institution).
