The Department of Economics and Management at DePauw University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin in August 2024. Ph.D. in finance, accounting, economics, or related field is preferred; ABD candidates will be considered at the rank of Instructor. The department seeks candidates with the ability and commitment to teach Financial Accounting to undergraduates in a liberal arts environment. In addition, the department seeks candidates who will contribute courses in finance or accounting that complement our offerings. A strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal-arts setting for a diverse body of students and evidence of effective and inclusive teaching is essential.
DePauw’s Gold and Bold 2027 Strategic Plan includes launching a new School of Business and Leadership and a new school that focuses on Creative practice. To help us launch these schools, we seek a cohort of faculty with experience at a range of institutions, including international institutions, HBCUs and HSIs.
