GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track appointment beginning Fall 2025. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Research and teaching interests should include topics in financial economics. The successful candidate should be prepared to teach at least one advanced course that emphasizes analytical and/or empirical tools in financial economics such as Corporate Finance, Financial and Managerial Accounting, Asset Pricing, Mechanism Design, or Financial Econometrics. The ideal candidate will have two such courses in their teaching portfolio, in addition to Introduction to Economics and a senior research seminar in the candidate’s specific interest areas.
