Alberto Dávila is Dean of the Harrison College of Business and Computing at Southeast Missouri State University. Dávila has published on border-related topics since 1982, appearing in the Dallasfed Economic Review, and is the co-author (with Marie T. Mora) of Labor Market Issues along the U.S.-Mexico Border (University of Arizona 2009) and Hispanic Entrepreneurs in the 2000s (Stanford University 2013). He has received such professional honors as the Small Business Administration District Research Advocate Award for the Lower Rio Grande Valley (2003); the Distinguished Alumnus award from the College of Business Administration at U.T.-Pan American’s 75th Anniversary (Fall 2002) among other research and teaching awards.
