The American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE) is now accepting submissions for papers to be presented in two sessions (one ASHE session and one joint ASHE / NEA session) at the 2026 ASSA Meetings January 3-5, Philadelphia, PA.
We will design the topics for these sessions based on the submissions we receive. ASHE has traditionally hosted papers on topics such as race, gender, ethnicity, health, and migration, but other topics are also welcome. Papers accepted for these sessions will be eligible for publication in the AEA Papers & Proceedings.
Everyone is welcome to submit abstracts for consideration, regardless of current ASHE membership. However, all selected participants must have an active ASHE membership at the time of the conference, either individually or through their institution.
To have your paper considered for inclusion in either the ASHE or ASHE/NEA session, you must submit an extended abstract (maximum 2 pages) that includes the title, names and affiliations of all authors, and the JEL classification.
Submit your abstract here.
The submission deadline is March 14, 2025.
