Macroeconomics
The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2024. We seek applicants who have teaching and research interests in any subfield of Macroeconomics. Outstanding teaching ability and enthusiasm for teaching in a liberal arts environment are essential, as is strong scholarly potential. Ph.D. must be completed by August 2024.
This position carries a five-course teaching load over two semesters. Faculty are expected to contribute to teaching the First-Year Experience and other courses in Pathways, the University’s interdisciplinary general education program. The position has a full-salary one-semester research leave at the end of the third year, and start-up and travel funds. Tenure-track faculty are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the University’s policies. All full-time appointments offer very competitive salaries and include full benefits.
