The American Society of Hispanic Economists (ASHE) is pleased to announce the ASHE Dissertation Award. The ASHE Dissertation Award is designed with the goals of ASHE in mind by providing one $1,000 award stipend to defray the costs of attending the ASSA meetings to a recently minted Ph.D. in Economics or a closely related field. The award will be made to an individual who, in the judgment of the ASHE Dissertation Award Selection Committee, shows promise of future achievement as a scholar and/or teacher, particularly if this achievement is in line with the goals of ASHE. The Award Recipient will be recognized at the annual ASHE Board meeting scheduled to take place at the ASSA meetings.
